How do they shop?
Shopping? Hmm. Who doesn’t like to go shopping? I think there is no one who doesn't like to go shopping. From teenagers to adults, male to female, the young to the old, everyone does shopping. By shopping, you grab everything you want for your new collections such as shoes, shirts, gadgets, and so on. The temptations of looking, touching, and getting it are so excited to do. By the way, there is uniqueness in shopping which is male and female have different shopping behavior. Why is that so? Men and women are created to have thoughts, attitudes, and properties that are opposite each other, as well as their shopping behavior. Male tend to buy things they already prepared before shopping, while female, even though they prepare things they will buy, they tend to see and buy other things out of the lists. See the difference, right? In the mall as well, we can see how the outlet designs itself by categorizing the male’s place and the female’s place so that male can directly go the male’s place and do female too. To make it clear let’s see the contrast between male and female when they are shopping at mall, more than 39 people who have been asked for a questionnaire and the results are:
Male:
When a man wants to buy a product in a store, he'll go straight to the area of the product he wants to buy. A male have a simple thought of buying. What he buys is what he needs. Once he prepared what he wants to buy, he only buys the things already listed.
Men tend to buy products that can help them in daily activities and products for their hobbies. They basically do not buy something out of their needs. For instance, they will buy a car for their activities and they will buy the other spare parts for the modification of their car to fulfill their hobbies.
Men have a lack of precision and accuracy in selecting products. Men always buy something without seeing and comparing first to the other products. It makes them forget about the specifications of the products. For example, if boys buy shoes, they do not see the pattern of the shoes and so on.
A man generally less interested in bargaining. The price offered by the seller is the price of the deal. Even if he bargains the products only differ slightly from the original price, the price from the seller.
The time for shopping is less than female because he does not like to take time too much in shopping. Shopping is not the male’s hobbies. When they are at mall, they will not stay there with a long time. After they get what they want, they directly go to the home.

Female:
A female tend to see and compare first one product to another product before she buys the products that already listed. They are called as impulsive buying because they spend much time to see products and buy products out of the lists . The eyes of women are very sharp to see a good products and it makes women buy the products more than expected
Women tend to buys items or products that are the symbol of their expressions towards appearances and emotions. Items like shirts, shoes, make-up items, jewelries are the items that the women really search for. They search those items to make them feel confident when they use it and that is the reason why women go for shopping
Women are more carefully in choosing and buying products. When women buy a product, they will see if there is something is broken or not and they will see about the materials and every single units of items to make sure that the items are good enough to buy.
The price of the products is the big considerations of women in buying the products. Women will consider first about the price when they buy a product. They will pay with the high price if the quality of the product equals to the price. They will also pay the product with the low price if the price is not qualified.
Women have a strong bargaining power. By observing the shopping behavior on women, women have a good skill in bargaining. They know how to make the seller deal with their price and it is good to get the cheap price.

In conclusion, God creates women and men with all of the uniqueness they have. They have different role but they are complementary each other. Shopping may separate the boys’ behavior and the girls’ behavior but it will not make them really different and cannot go for shopping together. There still similarity between men and women towards shopping behavior such as they have a planning before they go for shopping, they do also the research before shopping, and so on.
